What’s the value?

November 28, 2007 ·

I’ve mentioned this before. Following people on Twitter and reading edubloggers can be time consuming.
Sometimes I share tidbits I’ve found:

And more often, I learn from them:

Save1_2

Save3

Is it worth it? Absolutely.

    Hey Susan-
I feel the same way about twitter and all of the tools that I’ve been using to connect with others to exchange and share ideas with the goal of improving my (our) practices. It really has only been a few months since I’ve worked on developing my own professional network, but it has made a significant difference in my professional life. Using these tools and being connected will eventually become more important to a teacher than checking email-it won’t happen over night, but it will happen (especially when they see the benefits).
    Cheers!
