During the VAIS conference, I watched Will explore Google maps while another presenter was sharing. So cool. Read his review and check out the student example. I can picture all kinds of things our students might do with this.
I am attending a session at VAIS with Will Richardson, blog guru and all-around Web 2.0 expert. His passion for rethinking the way we teach –or should teach– is exciting. He says we are preparing students today for jobs that may or may not exist in their future. Does the degree or piece of paper matter anymore? Check out his blog feed in the left column of this page. Good stuff.
I do wonder how long this change will take. Even more…where do we find the time to learn it all?
